We recommend it. In short we pair a site survey with a face to face consultation to discuss the work you're thinking of carrying out. If after that you're interested in what we have to offer, we will set out measuring and taking photo's of your property. Then once an agreement and payment has been made over our services. We will then look to get started on drawing up the existing & proposed plans and elevations of your property to send back for comments in 2-3 weeks.

You can build without drawings, but getting the design and detail right ensures the builder does what you want and building control can inspect against approved drawings standards.

Once the initial site survey has been made and payment has been received. You can expect drawings ready to be submitted for planning within 2-3 weeks. Whilst waiting for approval from the council (usually up to 8 weeks). We'll get started on building regulations for your project ready for you to start getting some more accurate quotes from builders. Once planning has been granted and any amendments have been made we'll start working on the structural design package ready to hand over to your builders before they start on site.

We customize each service to suit your specific requirements. While some services may have standard prices, we provide an accurate quote once we fully understand the details of your project.

We currently don't offer this within our services, so you will need to source a building contractor. However, we do provide drawings and calculations with enough detail and clarity, alongside a face to face handover to help provide a smooth transition into construction.
